Everything is Energy

Peiyi Chen: Team Houston

Project Essay:

Life is a process of releasing energy and every life has its own life circle. Furthermore, Energy is not only unique to a subject, it also affects its surroundings and other life forms. A flower’s life is limited, but it is a miniature energy source. It lives hard towards sunshine, air and water. It also has tremendous beauty, which affects us a lot. Similar to us human beings, energy shines through our own lives to others.

The process of the life of flower is the subject I shoot under the topic of energy. And I would like to capture the negative side of how energy fades down. Everything has energy. For me, energy it is a process, it is a life. No matter how long it lasts, it has the same strength. All the living subjects in this planet are releasing their energy and keep it running one after another.

Creative Brief:

I am glad that I can be your flower for just a few days.

I will enjoy the days to be your flower.

I wish I can give you some peace and fragrance even if I am not the prettiest and do not have such an attractive smell.

I hope I can be placed at your window so I can take a fresh breath every day and feel the warmth of the sunshine.

I know I am weaker as days go by, and you will lose your interest in me. But please do not give up on me and let me try my best to live this life.

I might be one of the flowers you have in your life. But I wish I could be the flower who lives its life in your memory.
